Set up your queen on this computer
Your queen is a helper who lives on this computer. You write to her from your phone, and she writes back.
You are on a phone or tablet. Open this page on the computer where your queen will live.
Before you start
- A paid Claude plan, Pro or Max. Claude is an AI made by the company Anthropic. It is what your queen thinks with. You can get a plan at claude.ai. If you already pay for Claude, you are ready.
- A computer that stays on. Your queen can only answer while it is on.
- Your phone nearby, for the last step.
Windows
- Click Copy to copy this line:
- Press the Start button (the Windows logo at the bottom of the screen), type PowerShell, and press Enter. A window opens where you can type.
- Paste the line into that window: right-click inside the window, or hold Ctrl and press V. Then press Enter.
- Lines of text appear: "Step 1 of 12", "Step 2 of 12", and so on. This takes a few minutes. Keep the window open until you see a big square code.
- Windows may ask "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" while it gets the free programs your queen needs. Click Yes. That is safe.
- If you are not signed in to Claude, a Claude sign-in page opens in your web browser. Sign in there, then come back to the window. This setup never sees your password, and neither does this page.
- When it finishes, a big square code appears in the window. Open your phone camera, point it at the square, and tap the link that appears. Or open the app on your phone, tap "I already have a code", and type the 8 numbers shown in the window.
If something goes wrong: nothing is broken. Paste the same line again and press Enter. It picks up where it left off.
